PARTY!!!!

Aren't we so cute? Really the only reason I have posted this picture is so I can add it to my profile. This has to be by far the best picture that Norman and I have ever taken together. We had our engagement party on August 26th, 2006. It was so much fun. All of our immediate family was there, all but my sister. It's quite an expensive plane ticket from Iowa to California. So if your wondering about the dot, Norm's step mom is Indian, and her family from India brought me a Sari. They presented it to me that night, and I got to wear it. They also put a bindi on my forehead for good measure. I needed to complete the look. There are pictures of the Sari in all it's beauty on the site. I have the whole set, but the blouse is too small. I will have to go to an Indian store and get one that fits. Anyway, formal engagement pictures are coming so I need to head out to the gym. I have about a million pounds to loose before Christmas. Yeah right, that's gonna happen. Thank God Norm fell in Love with me as I am. Alright off to the gym with me.

Photographers

So, now Norm and I are interviewing photographers for our wedding. I think this is the part I have been most stressed about. They say if your going to spend money on a wedding, spend it on the photographs. When all is said and done, aside from a new room mate, the only thing tangible you have left after a wedding is the pictures. They are your memories. They are what you show to your kids and their kids. They will help you to take an accurate walk down memory lane when you are old and have gray hair. Norm and I just received a blessing when my dad agreed to take on the expense of the photographer. Woo Hoo. Anyway, I need to getz to steppin. I have netflix movies to watch. And I guess Norm might want to watch the first football game or something.
